From Shakespeare to AI (Literature Day)

Man with beard reading a big book with text Ex Libris

Date: Saturday, March 29, 2025
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Literature covers a broad range of topics and of time. Today we will limit this range to about 400 years. Our speakers explore major themes in Shakespeare’s plays, allow famous authors to come alive through Generative AI, focus on the role of independent bookstores as community builders, and participate in an authors’ panel discussing the challenges in getting published. You’ll also hear some recent work from current ASPEC writers, and have your say in a breakout group on poetry or a short story or a book that changed your life.

Free and open to the public; registration required

Additional Information: Lunch and wine & cheese reception included.
