From Robots to RNA to Individualized Self Care. Panel discussion: Morning discussion will include time for questions and discussion of Medical Headlines of 2025 and afternoon discussion will include time for questions and discussion of controversies / challenges in Healthcare.

Inside the Living Brain (Science Day)

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location: Lewis House Atrium, Eckerd College

Join us to explore what we know about how our brains function. The program will present ideas and perspectives drawn from contemporary brain science and will address brain structure, learning and plasticity, chemical signaling, memory and cognition. We will also talk about how these systems may fail, and what we might possibly do about it.

Lunch and Wine & Cheese Reception included. This event is open to the public. Although there is no charge, registration is required.

Brave New Words…And Images (Literature Day)

Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: Lewis House Atrium, Eckerd College

Literature covers a broad range of topics. Our speakers today explore rediscovering classics through Generative AI words and imagery, address censorship and literature, consider Poetry and its literary awards, and participate in a student/faculty panel on Education and AI. You’ll also hear some recent work from current ASPEC writers, and have your say in a breakout group on poetry or a short story or a book that changed your life.
